Oscar says, "Whoo Whoo! We are still in 2nd place!

 From Paris Landing State Park

Hello,

Our TN State Parks are having a friendly competition with one another to see who can bring in the most in donations the month of January. Our donations will go toward remodeling our bird of prey rehab, new flight cages, and the care of our feathered friends. You can vote and donate at https://tnstateparks.com/parks/event_details/paris-landing/#/?event=my-tn-state-park-pl-22. We are currently in second place and would love to move up to first by January 31st. Please pass on this information to your friends and family.

We thank you all for everything you do for our park.

  • Click "donate" above to vote for your favorite park.
  • Every $1 Donation = 1 Vote
  • Your donations help our park repair, maintain, and prepare to bring joy to more visitors.

We have big plans for our park and your votes can help us achieve those goals. Here are a few projects that we can complete with your support during this fundraiser:

Project #1: With $2,000 of support, we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire. This will help to keep the birds safe and prevent entanglements.

Project #2: With $3,000 of support,  we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire and build a larger free-standing flight cage for the rehabilitation center.  The flight cage will allow birds to better regain their strength and flying skills prior to release.

Project #3: With $4,000 of support, we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire, build a larger free-standing flight cage for the rehabilitation center, and build a flight cage for our nature center. This will allow us to have a larger area for our flighted or partially flighted resident education raptors to exercise.
