Buchanan, Tenn.–The restaurant at The Lodge at Paris Landing has opened and it has become the place to be in recent days, as more and more people are enjoying meals and the spectacular views of Kentucky Lake.It has been a soft opening for The Lodge restaurant, but even without a big public announcement, visitors have been flocking there to not just dine in the restaurant, but to tour the new facility.
Lodge officials said they opened the restaurant quietly because it gave staff more time to work out any kinks before the grand opening.
In addition to the restaurant, bar and lounge, you’ll find a small gift shop which features local and Paris Landing-themed products. (The larger gift shop still is located at the state park office).
Pottery created by Paris Artist Martin Paschall also is on permanent display at The Lodge, which also features several comfortable seating areas (indoors and outdoors) and conference rooms.
Restaurant hours are 11 am to 3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. daily.
Lodge officials said a grand opening and ribbon-cutting for the 91-room facility should be held later in June, although the date has not yet been announced. Governor Bill Lee reportedly will be in attendance for the ribbon-cutting.
Each of the guest rooms overlooks Kentucky Lake.
