Paris Landing/ Kentucky Lake KOA had their first group of "minor miners" for 2019 yesterday. Even Dad joined in the fun.
"Mining For Gems" is open to the public. Anyone can come and buy the bags of hidden gems and/or fossils within the sand from $7 to $20. This would be a great experience to show kids how old timers used to pan for gold.
