Shiver On The River

The 8th annual Shiver In The River will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 1, at Paris Landing State Park.
All proceeds go to the REAL Hope Youth Center. Cost is $25 per person. Trophies are awarded for individual contributors and most outrageous outfit.

The event will be held rain or snow. Gather at the boat ramp. Call 731-333-1320 for more info.

We want your photos of the Paris Landing area to share on our website and Facebook page.  Photos can include wildlife, people, sports activities, flora and fauna, clouds, landscapes, etc.

WHO MAY ENTER?  Anyone!

HOW TO ENTER:   Read the following Rules then attach your photo in the message box on our Facebook page at:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Paris-Landing-Tourism-League/305712731432

RULES:

• The photo must have been made within a 8 mile radius of Paris Landing State Park.
• The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.  
• If the photo includes people, you must have their permission to post their photo on Facebook. - except for crowd shots of public events.
• Photos must be in jpeg format (which is what most photos are these days).
• Nothing naughty
• You must include a caption in the message box.  Names, places, dates, etc.  
• Winners of photos sent to us Sunday thru Saturday, will be posted the following week.

JUDGING & CONTEST PRIZES

• Weekly:  Winners picked by the PLTL.  Prize:  Photo posted on our Facebook page and website with a photo credit.
• Monthly: Winners based on number of  “likes” (1 point) and “shares” (2 points) on Facebook.  Prize:  Posted on our Facebook page and website with a photo credit.
• Annual: Every 12 months the winners of the previous months will be posted on our website and on Facebook.  The winner will be based on the number of  “likes” (1 point) and “shares” (2 points) on Facebook.  Prize:  Posted on our website and Facebook with a photo credit, plus $200.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering this Contest, all entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Paris Landing Tourism League and its partners, affiliates,  agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.

RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND CONTEST
PLTL retains the right to cancel or suspend this contest at any time.
