Battle on the River Bowfishing Tour

Bowfishing Tourney Draws Competitors From 7 States

Buchanan, Tenn.- Bowfishing teams from 7 states gathered at Paris Landing this past weekend for the Battle on the River Bowfishing Tour. The event quickly became Tennessee’s biggest bowfishing tournament competition.

Tournament director, Brodie Swisher said, “This tournament is good for local business here in Paris and Henry County, as well as good for our lake and river system as over 11K pounds of rough fish were brought to the scales for weigh-in during the tournament.”

All fish were caught with a bow and special bowfishing arrow attached to a bow-mounted reel.
