July is membership month for the Paris Landing Tourism League.
You can join and come play with us for as little as $25 for the year.
Our mission is to promote tourism to the area of Paris Landing and Henry County, Tennessee. We provide assistance in organizing events such as trade shows, fishing tournaments, conferences, conventions, cook offs, picnics, swap meets, boat and other automotive shows, arts and craft shows which attract tourists to our neighborhood and thereby help support local businesses.
Some of the events we have assisted or contributed monies to include: Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department East Egg Hunt, Wounded Warrior Bass Tournament, Sealy Outdoor / McDonald’s Big Bass Splash, Boss Hoss Burn Out BBQ Cook Off, FerrySTOC, Henry County Fair BBQ Cook Off, and the Downtown Paris Christmas Parade.
And we will be happy to publish photos or stories you have written relating to visiting Paris Landing, tourism, tourist attractions, etc. with a credit to you for the story and links to your website on the Visit Paris Landing website and our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Paris-Landing-Tourism-League/305712731432?sk=timeline

Jarred Thweatt of Memphis won Saturday’s triathlon with a time of 1:03:05.
Nearly 200 competitors from around the country participated in the first Paris Landing Sprint Triathlon over the weekend at Paris Landing State Park. The event consisted of a 500 meter swim, 14 mile bike ride and three mile run was organized/ managed / sponsored by Paris Landing Sate, Tennessee River Resort Act committee, Henry County Alliance, Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce and Bone and Joint Specialist.
July 12th at 7 am, Paris Landing State Park will be the focal point of the first ever Paris Landing Sprint Triathlon which includes swimming 500 meters, biking 14 miles, and running 3 miles. This is an excellent course for beginners and veterans. Finishers will receive medals and race shirts.
4th of July Celebration, Fireworks and Summer In the Park Concert Series.
Michael S. Williams will be performing at the park’s large shelter along beautiful Kentucky Lake. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening of free country music. The fireworks display begins at 9 pm. For more information please call the park office.
