This past weekend 98 anglers in 49 boats came to play with us at the Paul Steele/Johnny Johnson Memorial Fishing Tournament, presented by Two Rivers Bass Club.
Brenda Valentine, aka “The First Lady of Hunting” and Sharon Seaton, owner of the Fish Tale Lodge co-hosted the weigh-in while a whole crew of volunteers from Two Rivers ran the scales and assisted competitors with caring for the fish.
There were plenty of spectators there to cheer the anglers on and in support of the memory of Paul Steele and Johnny Johnson.
The winning team took home over $1,200 Saturday for their stringer of Kentucky Lake bass.
Thanks to Two Rivers Bass Club for their kindness and generosity in assisting special needs children and college scholarships. This club has been fishing for good causes for over 32 years.
