Support Needed For Trunk or Treating

The PLTL is co-hosting Haunted Halloween at Camp Hazelwood with Paris Landing State Park.  It would be great if the PLTL sponsors could come out and be a part of the "Trunk or Treat" portion of the event.

What Is Trunk or Treating? During trunk or treat events adults decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and come sit in a parking lot for kids to "trick or treat" from car-to-car. ... The adults get to socialize and be creative while seeing all the cute and scary costumes.

Hope to see you there.

Paris Landing Senior Citizen Center

Did you know Paris Landing has its own Senior Citizen Center?  It's located in the Paris Landing Emergency Complex (same building as the ambulance service, fire department and rescue squad) at 15616 Hwy 79 N., Suite A, Buchanan, Tennessee 38222.

They play cards and other games every Monday and Friday from 10 am til 4 pm. There is always a jig saw puzzle to work on, a lending library and companionship. There are other activities throughout the year. During the winter it becomes a beehive of activity as it offers a warm, safe environment for seniors to hang out and have fun. Membership is only $10 per year and if you are over 80 - it's free.

Please help us spread the news by joining or sharing their new Facebook page at Paris Landing Seniors.
