Paris Landing Inn Timeline Accelerated

Nashville, Tenn.—Architectural drawings for the new plans for Paris Landing Inn were released and an accelerated timeline for construction of the new Inn was discussed when  meeting State Rep. Bruce Griffey, and R-Paris; Henry County Mayor Brent Greer met recently with state officials and contractors in Nashville.
Griffey said the meeting was held “to make sure the construction timeline for the new Inn was being pushed forward rather than delayed.”

San Antonio, Texas–The 2020 schedule for the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series has been announced and once again, Paris Landing State Park and Kentucky Lake is on the schedule.
This will be the 15th season for the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Fishing Series and this seasons schedule will feature four major televised events.  The four major events include the Texas Lunker Challenge presented by Mossy Oak Elements, Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash at Kentucky Lake Presented by Berkley, AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open, and the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Bass Pro Shops.

For 13 years now the Paris Landing Tourism League (PLTL) has been encouraging and promoting tourism which helps supports businesses in the Paris Landing community and Henry County.  Through its members, the PLTL has provided assistance, advice, direction, volunteers and donations to events that bring visitors to our community.  We strive to encourage new events and offer assistance however we can.

Register by Thursday to compete in Saturday's Paris Landing Sprint, Olympic triathlon
Springville, Tenn.- The Paris Landing Sprint and Olympic Triathlon will be held on Saturday, July 13th at Paris Landing State Park with the race set to begin at 7 a.m.
For competitors, the Olympic portion will include a 1500 meters swim, a 24 mile bike ride and 6.2 mile run. The sprint portion will include swimming 500 meters, biking 14 miles, and running 3.1 miles.
Prices are $90 for Olympic, $75 for Sprint and other prices for teams and combos. Prices will increase after Sunday, July 7th and again on race day. Mail in registration has already closed, but you can still register online for the race until Thursday, July 11th. To register, go online to paristntri.racesonline.com/register.
Triathletes can pick up their race packets on Friday, July 12th from 4-6 p.m. at the Park Office or Saturday, July 13th from 5-6:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will be scheduled for 10 a.m. Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants. It is an excellent course for beginners and veteran triathletes and there will be souvenir t-shirts available.
The race could be rescheduled due to the high water levels at the park.
